1-4442 Spraysat multiple nozzle desuperheaters (variable area) are designed to provide optimum performance and high rangeability. The independent spray nozzles are progressively activated by the throttling piston, providing a good water atomization down to minimum flow conditions. To improve the quality of atomization and accuracy of temperature control, several sizes of spray nozzles are available.

The built-in control system is very compact, reliable and easy to operate. The split body design allows to change easily the orientation of water connection versus the steam piping and greatly facilitate the seat replacement.
