VSS butterfly valves with tripple eccentric disc and metal seat provides excellent tightness even for pulp and high velocity applications. They can be used for steam, gasses and liquids. Standard make withstand temperaturea up to 500°C.

  • The butterfly valve is the most cost-efficient choice for control and on/off applications.

    Somas butterfly valves control flow in steam, gas, water or other fluids' applications for up to 500°C as standard. With optional material make higher temperatures are also available. The butterfly valve seat is made of solid steel which results in less sensitivity to high flow velocity and impurities in the media.

    Metal-seated butterfly valves have an advanced triple-eccentric design which - with metal seat design - provide excellent shut-off and eliminate the need for maintenance. The high surface pressure between seat and disc makes the valve useful for pulp applications where the fibres can be easily cut.
