T20 / T21 Vertical float switches

T20 are single stage float switches with narrow differential destined for high or low liquid level alarm in storage or process vessels.

T21 are dual stage float switches with narrow differential destined for high and low liquid level alarm in storage or process vessels where wide space between level alarms is required.

Operating principle is based on the buoyancy force of a process liquid which acts on the float causing the float to move with the liquid surface. The movement of the float moves an attraction sleeve into the field of the switch magnet, pulling the magnet toward the sleeve and actuating the switch.

Float switches are available in two types:
- T20 – float switches destined for top mounting on storage or process vessels. Switches are equipped in one microswitch and on float which can detect level up to 1219 mm depth. Available are with flanged or threaded connections.
- T21 – float switches equipped in two independent microswicthes and two floats which allows to alarm high and low level with distance between them from 203 up to 1219 mm. In case of applications where medium is turbulent T21 switches can be equipped in external cages which stabilize floats movement.
